Our Approach to Coronavirus

We know that you may have concerns around the outbreak of Coronavirus in the UK.

The health and safety of our learners, employers and colleagues is our number one priority, and we want to outline our plans to reassure you and ensure everyone can confidently continue working towards their apprenticeship qualification with minimal disruption to their continued progress and to your business.

We’re passionate about ensuring that as the situation evolves your apprenticeship programmes can continue to make a positive difference to you and your organisation. Our mission is to keep every learner, still learning. We have the capability to ensure this happens through our skilled team of Personal Tutors and our highly engaging remote learning system, Bud.

We believe

Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. Our approach to building your exclusive apprenticeship programme – one that is owned and branded by you – we believe, sets us apart from many other providers.

We will provide a highly impactful service

Suitable for your workplace through the following key actions:

  • Your main Paragon Skills’ contact will gladly work with you and your employer to prepare an action plan tailored to your workplace and ensure this is communicated to the various Paragon Skills’ Personal Tutors and learners
  • We will always put the interests of our learners first; arranging progressive learning sessions around their day to day work priorities, thereby minimising disruption to your business
  • Working together with you and your employer, we will make arrangements to maximise attendance at new enrolments, end-point assessments or functional skills exams
  • Our Personal Tutors will continue to be in regular contact with all learners to provide impactful remote teaching and learning via Bud, a telephone call or video session
  • Give adapted learning support and mental health support as and when it is needed
  • We will provide you with effective safeguarding support to help best support your teams
  • We are working closely with industry bodies and the relevant local authorities to closely monitor the situation and provide you with updates
  • Help each learner to progress through our flexible modules of sequencing, and even in the case of self-isolation or lockdown we will look at ways of embedding new knowledge and support the completion of planned off the job training
