Who is the apprenticeship for?

Adult Care Leaders are essential to the smooth running of a variety of care settings. This qualification is for those who are currently in a deputy role and are looking to move into higher management, or for a Registered Manager who is looking to gain a relevant qualification.

This individual is responsible for creating a supportive culture that values initiative and innovation and recognises the variety of skills of all team members within the service. They will ensure that the policies and procedures required to ensure the well-being and quality of life of the service users are followed and the values of your business are adopted by all team members.

What will they learn?

While on the programme your employees will learn how to guide and inspire thier teams to make a positive difference each service users’ life whether they are faced with physical, practical, social, emotional, psychological or intellectual challenges.

They will learn to lead your care teams and will develop and implement a values-based culture at a service or unit level. Depending on the setting you may also be responsible for business development, financial control, organisational resilience and continuity as well as for managing risk and leading on organisational change.

How will they learn?

Our Personal Tutors will deliver high-quality face-to-face learning and coaching and provide all the resources your employee will need to progress quickly. Our intuitive learner management system ‘Bud’ will really bring the subject to life through interactive learning tools, access to complementary online resources and relevant social communities, as well as provide real-time learner information so that you will always know what your employee is learning and how they are progressing.
