This apprenticeship is ideal for employees that support and promote children and young people’s early education and development.
These employees play an important role in preparing young people for their future school lives by helping them to gain the full range of social and practical skills they need to progress. They build good relationships with those they support and their colleagues and display the right skills and behaviours to move into a more senior role.
This apprenticeship has been designed to build on your employees’ existing talents and provide further knowledge and partnership working skills to support young people, their parents/carers and your wider organisation.
Your employees will learn how to plan and implement inclusive play, promote speech, language and communication development and ensure that everything they do is in line with safeguarding and equality policies and procedures. They will also learn how to use reflective practice to get the most from their own continuous professional development.
They will acquire all the skills and knowledge to proactively promote children’s health, safety and wellbeing and inspire others to deliver the best and most personalised service to every individual you support.
Our Personal Tutors will deliver high-quality face-to-face learning and coaching and provide all the resources your employee will need to progress quickly. Our intuitive learner management system ‘Bud’ will really bring the subject to life through interactive learning tools, access to complementary online resources and relevant social communities, as well as provide real-time learner information so that you will always know what your employee is learning and how they are progressing.
This apprenticeship will develop your employees’ knowledge, skills and behaviours in the following areas:
I completed my Level 3 children and young people’s workforce with Paragon. I couldn’t have asked for a better tutor! She was always there to help (no matter what time of day!), quick response with helpful advice to texts, emails or calls and came to see me at my nursery once a month without fail! I wouldn’t have been able to get through it without her.
