Who is the apprenticeship for?

This apprenticeship is ideal for any of your employees working in finance or accountancy roles whether within a dedicated accountancy practice or part of a team within an organisation that operates outside of the financial sector.

These employees assist in day-to-day financial activities such as data entry, month-end management accounts or year-end financial statements. An Assistant Accountant may also get involved in regulatory financial requirements.

This apprenticeship is suitable for your employees that are ready for their next challenge and are looking to progress to further study in accountancy and finance.

What will you learn?

This apprenticeship will provide your employees with the technical skills and knowledge needed to improve their performance and add real value on a day-to-day basis.  They will focus on understanding accounting fundamentals that include the preparation of final accounts, advanced bookkeeping and indirect and expenditure taxes as well as ethical accounting principles.

They’ll strengthen their ability to work collaboratively and understand how their contribution can have a direct impact
on your distinctive business and overall productivity.

How will you learn?

Our Personal Tutors will deliver high-quality face-to-face learning and coaching and provide all the resources you will need to progress quickly. Our intuitive learner management system ‘Bud’ will really bring the subject to life through interactive learning tools, access to complementary online resources and relevant social communities, as well as provide real-time information so that you will always know where you’re at in your learner journey.
