The South’s leading apprenticeship training provider will be heading
to the big city to show-off the skills of its apprentices at the
world’s biggest skills event – World Skills London 2011.

Taking place at ExCel in October the event is the largest
international skills competition and will see 1,000 competitors and
exhibitors from 50 countries competing in more than 45 skills areas
over four days.

It is only during the past year that Paragon Skills has expanded
beyond its operational area in the south and south west of England and
has increased the range of apprenticeships on offer. Paragon Skills
has also recently merged with the Employability Skills Group (ESG)
making it part the biggest group of national education providers in
the country.

To show off the skills of its apprentices and to promote the range of
courses on offer, Paragon will be exhibiting at the show, allowing
visitors the chance to touch its marine-based exhibits, get more
information and to sign up to apprenticeships.

Gavin Freed, Chief Executive of Paragon Skills, said: “Having the
chance to be part of this World Skills Event is a real opportunity for
us. We will be there amongst some of the biggest skills organisations
in the world and we will be able to promote all of the apprenticeships
we offer to a captive audience. So, it is vitally important that we
make the most of this amazing event.”
