Did you over-do it this festive season? Want to make a new start? Then make a New Year’s resolution to get your career into shape with an apprenticeship with Paragon.
Paragon (part of the employment and skills group) is a national training provider and offers a range of apprenticeship opportunities for young people between the ages of 16 – 24 years old. These include: beauty therapy, business administration, health and social care, childcare, customer service, hairdressing, hospitality, engineering, marine, motor and retail.
Paragon has local training centres in Bournemouth, Poole, Fareham, Reading, Yeovil and Weymouth.
The majority of the training takes place at the training centre and is run by experienced and qualified tutors and assessors. There is also on-going support available to help learners progress through their training. Paragon also works with a number of large and recognised employers including Mothercare, Marks and Spencer, The NHS, Tesco, Marks, WhSmith, RNLI, Sunseeker and the Choice Care Group.
In addition, learners will also gain an industry recognised qualification which will put them in good stead with their employer and can also help them on the road to their dream job.
Gavin Freed, Chief Executive of Paragon, said: “An apprenticeship gives young people the skills they need to succeed in business. All of our apprenticeships provide an industry recognised qualification which puts learners at an advantage when entering their chosen profession.
“With university places becoming harder to secure, an apprenticeship is a very realistic choice to get young people into the work place, contributing to the economy and earning themselves a wage and getting them self a qualification at the same time.”
