A Hospitality & Catering Apprenticeship will help build the right skills, as Apprenticeships have been designed by employers to meet the needs of the industry, and have been developed to help create the managers of the future.

What does an Apprenticeship include?

A Hospitality & Catering Apprenticeship includes:

  • An NVQ in Hospitality & Catering at Level 2 in your chosen field such as
    Food and Drink Service
    Food and Drink Service – Food Service
    Food and Drink – Drink Service
    Front office (Hotel Receptionist)
    Food Production and Cooking
    Professional Cookery
    Hospitality Services (Multi Skilled)
  • Functional Skills in Communication and Application of Number at Level 1
  • A Technical certificate in Hospitality & Catering or additional NVQ units,

Technical Certificates focus on the knowledge and understanding that underpins the NVQ, and are provided through a programme of off-the-job training.

Apprentices will also learn about Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR).

An Advanced Apprenticeship includes:

  • A Hospitality & Catering NVQ at Level 3
  • Communication and Application of Number Functional Skills at Level 2
  • A Hospitality & Catering Technical Certificate at Level 3.

You have a key role in developing your Apprentice’s learning plan. We work with you to ensure that the Apprenticeship meets the needs of your business.
