Introduction to Vehicle Valeting
Valeting involves the use of chemicals that, unless used properly and stored carefully, can cause hazards in the work place. Valeting involves electrical machinery and water; therefore it is necessary to have a safe understanding of the correct use of machinery and chemicals. This course is predominately carried out in a workshop environment and the emphasis is on instructor lead practical activity.
Who will benefit:
The course provides up to date health and safety information and new product knowledge that will be of benefit to those wishing to pursue a career in valeting and have no previous experience. Those already involved in valeting will benefit from this course as a refresher.

Course Aims:
The course aims to give delegates an awareness of health and safety issues, provide product knowledge and give practical hands on experience of valeting. Participants will come away from the course with a competent level of product knowledge and understanding of how to achieve consistently high quality work.
Progression:
Participants that successfully complete the course and pass the exam will receive a Paragon and ITE Training, and Trafalgar Cleaning Chemicals certificate of competence.
Duration:
3 days
