Yacht Maintenance Course
The course combines hands on practical activities with classroom theory, it is delivered in module format allowing delegates the option of choosing individual modules if required.
Who will benefit:
This course is designed for those who are looking to enhance their knowledge and skills in general yacht maintenance and repair
Entry requirements:
There are no specific entry requirements.
Course Aims:
The full course will cover the following Modules, however each module is available separately.
- Electrical Systems – 1 day
- Engines – 2 days
- Plumbing – 1 day
- Rigging and deck hardware – 1 day
- GRP & Gel coat maintenance and repair – 1½ days
- Painting and finishing – ½ day
Progression:
There is continual assessment throughout the course and successful participants are awarded a Paragon and ITE Certificate of Training
Duration:
7 days or as indicated
Courses are subject to minimum number participation. Bespoke training is available in all courses subject to agreement
