Motor Fundamentals of Electricity
One of a set of four courses approved by Automotive Skills, aimed at helping experienced technicians who need to update their skills or who have identified areas of weakness. The course is certificated and builds the knowledge required to undertake the other three courses within the set:
- Ignition Systems & Electronic Fuel Systems,
- Motor Engine Management Systems
- Motor Vehicle Diagnostics
All courses contain a mix of theory and relevant practical work.
Who will benefit:
Technicians who need to update or refresh their knowledge of modern electrical and electronic systems.
Entry requirements:
Participants would normally be qualified to NVQ level 3 or above or have a minimum of 4 years experience of working with vehicle electrical / electronic systems
Course Aims:
Covers the knowledge that will enable participants to consider other topics such as engine management, ignition systems and diagnostics.
