Certificate in Vehicle Body and Paint Operations (Body Repair)
This is a qualification, primarily aimed at candidates who do not have access to NVQs. They emphasis theoretical knowledge and practical skills, and are assessed by multiple-choice tests and practical tasks in a training environment at a local college.

Who will benefit:
Anyone wishing to work in the automotive industry, or gain accreditation of skills and/or knowledge other than following an NVQ or apprenticeship programme.
Entry requirements:
Participants should want to work in an automotive environment, be motivated and enthusiastic with good mechanical aptitude and a good eye for contours and colour. The nature of the learning and assessment process requires that participants have at least basic numeracy and literacy skills
Course Aims:
The qualification has been designed:
- To provide valuable accreditation of skills and/or knowledge for participants not following an NVQ or apprenticeship programme
- To allow participants to learn, develop and practice the skills needed for employment and career progression within the automotive sector

460 Guided learning hours
