RYA Marine Diesel Engine Course
The course aims to give awareness of the main systems of a marine diesel engine so that boat owners can take simple measures to prevent mechanical failures at sea and rectify defects that do not require workshop support.

Entry requirements:
No entry requirements or previous experience necessary
Course Aims:
The course will cover the following:
- Operation of the marine diesel engine
- Fuel, lubrication, cooling and electrical systems
- Engine maintenance
- Winterisation and fault diagnosis
- Extensive Practical hands-on session on second day
Progression:
RYA Diesel Engine Maintenance certificate will be awarded on successful completion of the course
Duration:
2 days
