The Information Technology Qualification NVQ is an award requiring candidates to acquire points gained through selection of units with varying point allocations. The award can be taken at Levels 1, 2 or 3 as appropriate. Assessments are used to determine and confirm a candidate’s progress and competence set against the national standards. An evidence Portfolio combined with formal observations are the assessment methods used to ensure achievement.

Anyone wishing to have his or her IT skills acknowledged by a nationally recognised qualification

Entry requirements:

Participants should be in employment in an IT related position.

Course Aims:

On completing of this qualification, the successful candidate will be able to competently apply his or her knowledge to solving every day business issues.

Duration:

Up to 12 months per level
