Makaton Parents and Carers - Beginners Workshop
For Parents and Carers who need to use Makaton signing at home or work. It teaches signing for Stages 1-4 and some additional signs
Who will benefit:
Family Members, parents and carers who need to use Makaton signing at home or work.
Entry requirements:
Must have an interest in developing early communication skills
Course Aims:
To provide an introduction to Makaton use in everyday situations, with an emphasis on more practical than theoretical information. Signing instruction is given for stages 1 – 4 plus some additional signage to help in practical situations

- Parent and Carer Follow-up workshop

Duration:
Flexible; 2 full days or 4 three-hour sessions
Courses are subject to minimum number participation. Bespoke training is available in all courses subject to agreement
