Dementia Awareness
The ASET accredited Dementia Awareness course is designed to be delivered as a one-day workshop but the portfolio can be taken away and completed as a 12-week distance-learning package. This means that although we offer a one-day workshop that goes alongside this course, the learner does not necessarily have to attend as all the information is supplied in the portfolio.

Anyone working within a care setting where the Elderly or potential Mental Health issues are catered for or dealt with

Course Aims:
Employees who deal with clients that already have Dementia or those who have a history of Mental Health issues will gain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of what Dementia is and will cover other Mental Health issues and ways of dealing with them.
