CPR & Automated External Defibrillation

This 1/2-day course is designed to allow first aiders to extend the circle of care or chain of survival beyond the traditional ABCs of ‘A’ airway, ‘B’ breathing and ‘C’ circulation. Now we have ‘D’ for defibrillation.

Who will benefit:

This course is suitable for anyone interested in furthering his or her emergency aid skills, or who takes part in an organised First Aid Scheme. For health care workers this course serves as a basic module.

Entry requirements:

Appointed Person First Aid (as a minimum)

Course Aims:

Participants will learn how to use an Automated External Defibrillator.
