Young people getting their GCSE results this summer are invited to take advantage of apprenticeship opportunities available with Paragon Skills for Industry.

With apprenticeship training centres located all across the South and South East, there are openings available on apprenticeship courses including beauty therapy, business administration; care; childcare; customer services; distribution and warehousing; hairdressing, hospitality and catering; marine, motor and retail.

The training centres offer fully equipped facilities in which students can use for their training.

Taking an apprenticeship means young people earn a wage and study towards a nationally recognised industry related qualification at the same time.

Paragon Skills can assist with the job hunt, giving young people advice on how to go about landing their perfect job and when they do, Paragon will provide them with all the training they need to make sure they are fully skilled and valuable members of the workforce.

Stuart Prior, Operations Director for Paragon Skills, said: “Getting GCSE results is always a daunting time for many young people and some may still be undecided about which route they would like to take next. At Paragon Skills we work with employers, so if a young person already has a job, we will train them while they work. If a young person is still looking for a job, we will help them with the support and guidance they need to find an employer and get them on an apprenticeship. So, they will get into work, earning real money whilst training at the same time.

“There are a range of apprenticeship opportunities available at Paragon Skills. All of our tutors and assessors are fully trained and well skilled and give our apprentices the support and information they need to successfully complete their qualification and to progress in the career of their choice.”

In addition, there are open events happening at the Paragon Skills centres during August. This gives young people and employers the opportunity to visit the centre. They will be able to look around the facilities there and find out about apprenticeship opportunities available.
